PRNDL is about escaping. For me, a car was the simplest way to do that. I’ve traveled more miles on backroads than some have on the highway. I’ve been through the mountains and the flatlands, slums and affluent neighborhoods alike. A common thread shared between all these places is that I wanted to leave. Finding my escape in a car led me to discovering countless hours of music and opened a new avenue for my mind to wander. It also, however, led to many sketchy situations and even unearthed its own traumas. PRNDL is the culmination of those influences and events. This EP displays both moments of originality and familiarity. A short journey through an eclectic landscape. A reminder that some things look like the answer, but are really just a vehicle to get you to it.
